Our History

In 1978, way back when Cam and Plug Board Auto’s ruled the turned parts industry. Tallot Engineers first opened it’s doors. With only a handful of machines we set about making our little dent….It was quickly realised that to succeed in this highly competitive industry we needed to be unwavering in 3 key factors…Customer Service, Investment and Quality.

Technology has come on leaps and bounds since those early days. The requirement for excellence grows greater by the year and only by continued investment in our machinery, our quality controls and most importantly our team have enabled us to grow and work alongside the most demanding sectors of our industry.

In 1998 we purchased our first Citizen Sliding Head CNC…This opened up huge opportunities for Tallot. As customer requirements become more complex, lead times and costs increasingly tighter our move to Sliding head CNC’s was the natural course of progression. What ensued was faster and more precise production. Manufacturing changed from a 8-5 Mo-Fri to 24/7 almost overnight.

Since then we have invested over 2 million pounds. Our investment strategy is to maintain our machines to the highest standards and with a replacement program in place ensure that our abilities as a turned parts manufacturer are current and in line with the latest technology

We are not beholden to any financial institutions and pride ourselves in our ability to react to the ever changing climate.
